Tuition:

Tuition for all courses is $775. Tuition includes all seminar materials, breakfast and lunches. Because space is limited, a non-refundable $250 deposit is required to confirm your registration. The tuition balance is due and non-refundable six weeks before the seminar. However, it is transferable within one year to another class should an emergency cause you to cancel.

Tax deductibility

The expenses of continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills, are tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for complete details.

Accommodations

The Fort Collins Marriott is a luxurious full-service hotel located three miles from downtown and just 15 minutes from the Center for Loss. Voted best brunch in Fort Collins, the Marriott's restaurant is widely acclaimed. Its 229 spacious guest rooms provide you with your own coffee service, refrigerator, laundry service and many other amenities. Located next door to the Foothills Fashion Mall, your shopping needs are only a step away. For your continued recreational pleasure, the hotel offers an indoor/outdoor heated pool, fully-equipped fitness center, whirlpool and full-time concierge who will be happy to help plan your evenings in Fort Collins. Your background statement

Should you wish to attend, we will require a written statement of your background and interest in bereavement care. While there is no specific educational degree requirement, each applicant is required to demonstrate a commitment to the compassionate care of the bereaved. Please include the following information in your background statement: name, age, occupation, brief work history, losses in your own life, interest in the particular seminar(s) you have selected and anything else you think we should know. In addition to being a screening tool, this statement helps us get to know you before you arrive at the Center.

Important: Because they are limited to 18 participants, our seminars fill up quickly; we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Please call before registering to ensure availability. You may register for two (2) courses in a 12 month period.
