My 10 year old Boxer, Monty, died in my arms one morning after suffering a seizure. (He had been having a few seizures and our Veterinarian feared he had cancer). I was not ready for that day. Monty was my buddy, my loyal companion who went everywhere with me. I loved him so much. The pain from losing him was almost unbearable and I was so glad I was holding him in my arms telling him how much I loved him as his convulsions slowed down and he took his last breath. Words cannot express the comfort I received from Dr. Wolfelt's book. I read it several times and it absolutely got me through some tough times. I have ordered several copies of the book and I give them as gifts to people who are mourning the loss of their companion pets. I just gave my last copy away this weekend so I am ordering some more. Thank you, Alan, for helping so many people in their grief journeys and for teaching us and providing us with the resources to help others! I highly recommend this book.
